Standard pathology reports use clinical reference ranges - broad population-based ranges designed simply to rule out serious disease. But there's a big gap between "not diseased" and "truly well."
As a naturopath, I use therapeutic ranges which are much tighter, more meaningful reference points that reflect optimal health and function, not just the absence of illness. This distinction can reveal patterns of imbalance, nutritional deficiency, and dysfunction that standard reporting completely misses.
